User guide for managing notifications in the Toto ecosystem.

The Toto notification system provides real-time updates and alerts across all ecosystem components, ensuring you stay informed about important events and system changes.

Notification Types​

User Notifications:

  • Case Updates: Progress updates on rescue cases
  • Donation Confirmations: Payment processing confirmations
  • Message Alerts: New messages from other users
  • Status Changes: Account and permission updates

System Notifications:

  • Maintenance Alerts: Scheduled maintenance notifications
  • Security Alerts: Security-related announcements
  • Feature Updates: New feature announcements
  • System Status: System health and performance updates

Business Notifications:

  • Fundraising Updates: Campaign progress and milestones
  • Partner Alerts: New partnership opportunities

Notification Bell​

The notification bell appears in the top navigation bar and shows:

  • Unread Count: Badge showing number of unread notifications

Notification Panel​

When you click the notification bell, a panel opens showing:

  • Notification List: Scrollable list of recent notifications
  • Filter Options: Filter by type (All, Cases, Donations, System) or status (All, Unread, Urgent)
  • Search Functionality: Search through notification history
  • Bulk Actions: Mark all notifications as read

Notification Items​

Each notification shows:

Notification Channels:

Viewing Notifications​

  1. Click the notification bell in the navigation bar
  2. Browse through your notifications

Marking as Read​

  • Single Notification: Click "Mark as read" on individual notifications
  • All Notifications: Click "Mark all as read" button
  • Automatic: Some notifications auto-mark as read when viewed

Deleting Notifications​

  • Single Notification: Click delete button on individual notifications
  • Bulk Delete: Select multiple notifications and delete
  • Auto-Archive: Old notifications are automatically archived

Taking Actions​

Many notifications include action buttons:

  • View Case: Go directly to the related case
  • View Donation: See donation details
  • Respond: Reply to messages or requests
  • Dismiss: Remove notification from view
